What is the app called and where can I use it?
The app is called TipTipp® and is available for free on iOS and Android. Alternatively, you can use TipTipp® directly as a web app in your browser, completely without any download.
Is it free to use?
Downloading the app is free. Fees only apply when a parking tip is successfully matched. The Tip Provider sets the price for their tip individually. Out of this amount, a €1 platform fee applies per transaction.
How do I offer a tip?
It’s simple: you enter your current location and the details of your parking space in the app. Other users will then be able to see your tip in the app.
When and how do I receive my reward?
As soon as you have officially handed over your parking space in the app, the reward will be credited to your account. The payout takes place within 2 to 5 business days.
How quickly do I get a tip?
That depends on the respective offer. Each user specifies when the parking space will become available when submitting their tip. This allows you to see directly in the app which tip fits your schedule.
How much does a tip cost and how can I pay?
The provider sets the price themselves. Payment can be made using digital payment methods.
What happens if I paid for a tip, but the space is already taken?
The final transaction only takes place once the handover is confirmed by both parties.
What happens if the Tip Receiver arrives late?
The parking tip is valid for a specific period of time. If the Tip Receiver or Tip Provider realizes they won’t make it, they can cancel the tip up to 10 minutes before the agreed arrival time. If the Tip Receiver arrives late and the parking space is no longer available, this is unfortunately their own responsibility. As a Tip Provider, you have fulfilled your service and will still receive your payment.
